Okay, Kos, You Seem To Want Romney In the Race, so How 'bout a Bet?

I don't know if it's the responses you've gotten from Kossacks or the buzz from the likes of Fox, CNN, and ABC, but for some reason, you've apparently decided to give Karl Rove a run for his money in the area of Mayberry's newest Machiavelli! Since seem so cock-sure of gambling with all our futures, why don't you take a more personal stake in this?

If you're so absolutely sure that Romney's continued presense in the race would ultimately be to the advantage of the Democrats, how about a little wager...right here, right now, before the Dialy Kos community and the country! Since we'll never really know if your urging Democrats and independents to vote for Romney would actually hand him the win, why don't you back up your advice and say now, that if Mitt Romney wins Michigan, the nomination and ultimately the White House, then you will admit you were grievously in error and will disband your blog and just go the fuck away...something Ralph Nader did not have the class to do!

Then, if you really believe what you're saying about giving Mitt Romney and MI and keeping him in the race is true, you should have no problem making that pledge. And, honest to God...if you are in ANYWAY instrumental in putting Mitt Romney in the White House for 4 or 8 years, with Jeb Bush as a possbile VP pick, thereby giving us perhaps another uninterrupted 8, 12 or 16 years of Republican rule, then honestly, who would take your blog seriously anymore anyway, right?

C'mon Kos...I've always been your biggest fan and supporter, but I'm calling you out on this. What do you say?

To Kos, Markos, I apologize if I come offended you with this post, but having read yet another item from you encouraging a vote for Romney as well as another item on ABC News about DK involvement in Michigan, I was a bit PO'd. I do sincerely believe you are underestimating Mitt Romney and the people behind him. Judging from the responses I've received here, apparently I'm the only one that thinks Mittsy Flip-Flopney is a threat while most Kossacks share your opinion and see this guy as just an amusing caricature in an episode of "Who Wants To Be The Leader of the Free World". Either way, I sincerely hope that I'm wrong and you're right and that Mitt Romney's only visit to the White House in 2009 will be as a tourist!!
