We Must Support All Saints Church in it's battle against the IRS--AKA the GOP Initmidation League

The All Saints Church in Pasadena said today that it would  fight the IRS's demand that in turn over documents regarding an anit-war sermon that may coast the church its tax exempt status. (Funny, the IRS doesn't seem interested in James Dobson's "Values Voters Summit" currently going on. NOTHING political about that, I suppose.)

This is truly a case of David against Goliath and we need to send a clear message that freedom of speech which SUPPORTS Bush isn't the only freedom in this country. The Christian Right violates its mingling of church and politics everyday and gets away with it, apparently, while a church that preaches AGAINST war--something I'm sure Christ Himself would embrace, is now being threatened.

It would be nice to see our community, regardless of your individual religious beliefs (or lack thereof if it's the case) come out in support of All Saints Church anyway you can. We must stand up for what's right. James Dobson and Jerry Falwell have GOP controlled Washington DC on their side, so folks like those at All Saints need us on theirs.
