Attack of the Lynne Cheney Groupies Part 3

Tue Nov 21, 2006 at 05:18:21 AM PDT

Recently, I'd purchased a copy of Lynne Cheney's new book "Our 50 States: A Family Adventure Accross the U.S." for a relative and reviewed it on Amazon. I didn't think I was harsh or anything and even liked the art work, but found the story itself a rather vapid tale and knowing who the author was, wasn't surprised. Well, it didn't take long for the right wingers to begin their swfitboating of me.

A more recent item in the comments section by "R. Reagan" reads thus:

"R, Reagan  In reply to an earlier post YES SNOW BRAVO!!!!,

I didn't even bother to read his last rant. He should be reported to amazon.

Oh yeah, remember the presidental VETO, LOL

AS a side note, I have the book and it is a true honor to our nations history. A True melting pot!!.. I did an informal count, there are far more references to our most treasured assets, imigrants and minorities. There are actualy very few references to "wasp" america.
O neil don't worry Hillary's medical plan will pay for your psy care. "

Notice all the characteristics of a neo-con attack? A call to censor my review; reducing my responses to 'rants;' an appeal to 'report' me to authorities; and, of course, what would it be without the obligatory attack on Hillary Clinton???

Definitely check out the exchange if you have a moment:

Some of the objection is so breathtakingly childish and caustic that you can't help but laugh. I know I shouldn't bother responding, having said my piece, but good lord, I almost expect to be the topic on a Rush Limbaugh show for this.
